I started reading Rules of Civility a novel by Amor Towels that instantaneously throws you back to old NY, the party scenes, the glitz and the glamour. Suddenly I am finding myself surrounded by old NY via Rules of Civility and the out-pouring of old fashion from The Great Gatsby. If I could be transported to a time period in NY it would have to be the 1920's-1930's, I would love to trade in my every-day jeans for a cinched waste shirtdress and my night-time look for a fabulous flapper dress. In the meantime, I have been inspired and have been searching for ways to incorporate the old into the new.
Love this post!!! I am so obsessed with vintage from 1920's - 1950's. Love the t-straps!

Wow, the ring and the shoes are so amazing!I think the old times were so beautiful, the women were always so well dressed! These pictures are so beautiful and inspiring! I would love to dress this way, but I confess I don't have the courage to go out this way... :) But it's a dream, so beautiful!
