This year I had the opportunity to make someone feel extra special with a gift from Dooney and Bourke.
When they first contacted me and asked me if I would like to gift someone who made a difference this year I knew exactly who I would gift for the season and couldn't wait to deliver the present!
I chose to gift my sister, a mom of two soon to be three and a dedicated teacher in New Jersey who somehow managed to teach on zoom while juggling two kids at home. She also created a small company to help families stuck at home during shutdown. As a teacher she was constantly asked for ideas for projects to keep the kids busy while at home and through that she came up with "BOXtivities."
BOXtivities is a gift box for kids with teacher driven activities that kids can do on their own at home. She created two great gift boxes and sold them throughout her town with great success throughout the quarantine period bringing so much joy to the kids who received them.
This year I wanted to celebrate her success as well as honor her as a sister as well as a teacher and mom and let her know that she deserves a little something extra this year.
