New York Holiday Season

Tuesday, December 10, 2019

I can not believe that the New Year is right around the corner but I am trying to relish this time of year because we all know how fast it goes by.  There are so many festive places to visit in the city that make this season so exciting and each year I find myself stumbling across the cutest spots during this time of year.

Of course visiting festive places is just half the battle, dressing for it is the other half! This checkered collarless coat was one of my favorite purchases this season and is a great layering piece to own. This season alone I have paired it with blue denim, black denim, leggings and even over a black dress for another great look. Having versatile pieces in your wardrobe are so important (especially if you live in NYC and have a small closet!) and long blazers/ dusters are the best items to own when it comes to mixing and matching.

Here are some hot-spots to check out:

1. Barbounia: The decor in this place is beautiful, filled with snowflakes and lights and the mediterranean food is something to write home about!
Try the Mezze dips with their homemade bread and make a toast on their Pink Sangria.

2. Rolfs German Restaurant: You can not live in NYC and not make a holiday visit to this hot-spot. The decor is out of this world and New Yorkers flock to this spot just to take a snap.
Head to their website to get a sneak peek at their seasonal decor, you won't be disappointed!

3. Marivanna This cute little spot in Flatiron takes decor to the next level and you got to see it to believe it! Head over to take some pictures and stay for the delicious food.

Need other ideas for what to do in New York this holiday season?

Check out this great list:  8 Things To Do in New York in December so many of these items are on my list like seeing the lights in Dyker Heights (I know how have I not done this before) & of course visiting the Holiday Markets around the city!
