Last night I headed to the West Village to pop into the Satya store located on Bleecker street for their Spring 2015 preview. A little history about my love for Satya...a few years ago when I lived in Columbus Circle I came across the brand located in the Columbus Circle shops at a kiosk on the first floor. I would frequent the kiosk often and would admire the jewelry and the message attached to the jewelry. Fast forward a few years later, the Columbus Circle kiosk has expanded to a store, the post in the West Village has been a staple for 13 years and Satya is opening a third post in the soon to open Brookfield Place which will be located on Vesey Street in the Financial District.
Satya has a holistic perspective on life and infuses symbolism into her beautiful pieces. Her designs incorporate semi-precious stones combined with sacred symbols to inspire the women who wear them. The Spring 2015 line is a beautiful collection and I for one can not wait for the pieces to become available to the public!
