I have never attempted the preppy style however, something about pairing a chambray button down with a sweater spoke to me. And, while I was at it adding a pair of leopard print booties spoke to me even more! I love this look because it is easy to wear to work (sans the shoes of course) and then easy to wear out for drinks or dinner with friends. Classic yet with a twist of trend...right up my alley!
Even better I mixed "budget friendly" items with closet "must haves" for that easy to attain look with pieces that will last you for seasons to come...that I say is a win win!
