First Signs of Spring

Tuesday, April 9, 2019

Anyone else jump at the first sign of spring to break out their whites and nudes? This past weekend we finally got over that cold hump and had two beautiful days in New York which completely changed my mood and brought my smile back to my face. I moved to Long Island City in January however I have pretty much mastered the walk to the subway and back to my apartment due to the cold. Now that it is warmer out I am loving the opportunities to explore and hit up all of the cute brunch spots as well a breweries (there are 6!) in the area.

Speaking of brunch is this not the perfect brunch look? This mesh crepe jacket is my favorite spring addition to my closet- it has mesh inserts under the arm making it breathable and light for spring. I paired it with these Rivington high waisted jeans that fit perfectly- they have a little give but not too much that they stretch out and look great all day.

Spring Jackets & Jeans:

Aren't you obsessed with my bodysuit? I will let you in on a little secret, it's actually a one piece swimsuit that dubs as a bodysuit, I love pairing it with high waisted jeans for a seamless look. I finished off this look with some bright accessories and hit the town to eat and drink. I can't wait to explore more of my hood and share with you guys. If you have any favorite LIC spots head to my insta @fashinny and drop me a line!
