New York Rooftops in Winter

Rooftops in winter- you betchya! Thankfully we have had a fairly mild winter in New York- a few colder days and some snow but overall I can not complain especially when you can hang out on a rooftop in NYC in February.  One of my favorite areas in NYC is Soho- between the shopping, the restaurants and the chic hotels it is definitely the spot to be and I must say I spent most of Fashion Week in the area. If you follow me on instagram ( @fashinny) you saw a bit of the behind the scenes as I hit the Revlon Lounge during fashion week. One of my favorite things in life is having my hair done, not to seem shallow but it's just so relaxing to me and when you add in a glass of champagne you have me at hello!

After being pampered with getting my hair done I moved on to the makeup chair to have my makeup touched up with Maybelline. I am addicted to Maybelline superstay matte ink (I am wearing believer) and have pretty much wearing the same color day since I was introduced to the line in December. I was psyched to be introduced to another great color and I have since purchased a few more to fill my makeup cabinet.

As most New Yorkers I have a thing for black and white and this Printed Bell Sleeve Dress by Tahari ASL fit into my wardrobe perfectly. I love the bell sleeves and the slight flare on the skirt of the dress and if you're into details this dress is the right one for you (& you can grab 20% off with my code: fashinny20 through 2/28). I paired it with over the knee black suede boots (similar style) and a silver mini satchel by Deux Lux that was perfect to carry along during fashion week.
