For July 4th weekend I packed by bags and headed to Ithaca and Interlaken NY located on Cayuga Lake. The first day I spent wandering through Ithaca- a cute little college town. I wandered through Ithaca Commons- a great shopping area where I picked up a few bottles of fresh balsamic and olive oil from a local store (and have been enjoying it back in the city!).
For wandering around town I chose this cute little number from Style N' Motion an online shop filled with on-trend women's clothing specifically curated to take you from one adventure to the next. Before I left for my trip I had the pleasure of meeting with the owner, Caitlin and hearing about her travels and the importance of a "packable" wardrobe. This dress not only packed well but was the perfect lightweight dress for a summer vacation.
After a day spent in town I headed to Interlaken and arrived at my destination for the next few days. I stayed at a remodeled farmhouse on 23 private acres (link here) with a waterfall on property. The area is beautiful and filled with multiple wineries, cideries & farms located by Cayuga Lake.
