Stripes & Cutoffs

Finding time to unwind in this busy city can be tough but I love squeezing in some "me-time" so that I can regenerate and keep up with my busy life. To be honest, being a fashion blogger and having a full time job is like having two full time jobs and even if I find 20 minutes in a day just to have some alone time I take it. My favorite things to do is to stroll around the city, visit a new space whether is is a rooftop (when it's warm) or a cafe (indoor or out) or to find a seat in one of the many NYC parks and just people watch. It is amazing where your mind can wander!

This Stripe Cold Shoulder blouse caught my eye a few weeks ago and I just needed to add it to my wardrobe. I love the fact that I can wear it to work or out in the evening of the weekend and it pairs with everything from denim cutoffs to jeans. Last week I found some time after work to relax before hitting a few events and after taking a breather I walked around the Gramercy area for a bit. Of course when I wander I love to have a comfortable shoe but if you know anything about it that shoe also better be cute!
These Tassel Espadrilles by Matt Bernson are the perfect shoe for wandering around, they hit the mark in both comfort and style (and they are also available in other colors).
