LBD

I am hoping that this is one of the last weeks that we need to wear tights in New York and I looking forward to warmer days where I can bare my legs and slather on the self tanner. This LBD is one of my favorites as it is perfect for everything from business meetings to cocktail parties & weddings. The LBD is a closet staple that every girl needs in her closet (or multiple LBD's if you are me and have this thing for black). I paired this dress with these Gucci mules that my mom bought for me years ago- we were in Miami and happened upon a second hand store. I immediately spotted these in the back and had to have them but, I was in college and didn't have a lot of extra money to spare. When I turned my back to browse the racks my mom took them up to the register and bought them for me as a gift. There are a few items in my closet that I know I will never part with and these mules fall into that category.

You don't always find me wearing lipstick but I have a newfound obsession for Bobbi Brown's line of  liquid lip art sticks.  The collection comes in multiple colors and I have been trying out quite a few and have not found one I have not loves! This one I paired with this LBD is cherry and it lasts all night- one application and you are good to go. And what I love even more is that it does not have the same drying effect that a lot of the matte glosses do which means it goes on evenly and looks great on your lips.
