Bell Sleeves

Monday, April 3, 2017

One of my favorite trends for spring is the bell sleeve (also seen here &here) it's a fun, dramatic way to make a statement without being over the top. I paired this top with a pair of cuffed jeans and a pair of suede nude booties that I love for spring. Now the the weather is warming up a bit I am coming out of hibernation and doing what I love best- exploring New York. Even though I have lived here since college (I am originally from Jersey...not too far) the city always seems to surprise me.

And since the weather is nicer and I am not covering my head at all times with a winter hat I have been frequently popping into salons for a good blow out. It is absolutely one of the best ways to unwind after a long day and feeling pretty and pampered re-gerates you! One of my favorite places to go to is Marie Lou & D not only is the decor gorgeous the stylists are super talented and friendly! I had my hair blown out with loose curls before heading to an event in NYC. Because I wanted the look to last a few days, my stylist Katie made the curls a bit tighter locking them in with
Kérastase Discipline Smoothing & Nourishing Thermal Protective Milk For Unruly And Frizzy Hair, and Kerastase K Curl Fever Radiant Curl Shaping Gel. And, a few days later my hair still looked picture perfect!

This Count Me Healthy: Sexy Stack from Chelsea Charles is one of my favorite stacks of bracelets (and they are currently on sale!). The beads move to help you reach your daily goals- mine include drinking 8 glasses of water. I start the morning with the beads on one side and move them over as I reach my goal.

What I wore: Top: Zara, Jeans: Article of Society, Bag: Badgley Mischka, Bracelets: Count Me Healthy: Sexy Stack Chelsea Charles c/o, Earrings Kendra Scott c/o, Boots: Zara
