Yesterday you all got a sneak peek of my picks for gifts for Valentine's Day and today I am sharing my first of a few looks to get you ready for the big day! The first look is for a casual Valentine's Day and I rounded up some great date ideas that this look would be perfect for! This flower print bomber (under $25!) is just the thing to wear for a casual Valentine's- the flowers make it romantic and the pops of pink are just the color you need to celebrate the day. I paired this look with my favorite skinny jeans (piper- STS Blue under $45!) and a pair of black booties (similar styles here under $100) and to tie in the whole look I added this cute heart tote Deux Luxe also under $100.
Not sure of what to do for a casual Valentine's? Here are some ideas for you New York-ers:
1. Paint Night (Via Groupon) I have attended two paint nights in NYC and it is super fun- most are byob which is great for date night! Grab a bottle of wine, grab your date and head out for a great time!
2. Ceramics Workshop (Via Groupon) I have always wanted to try this and what better time than on Valentine's Day! For $29 a person it makes for great date and you get to take home a memory to display in your home!
3. Cooking Desserts: Macarons (Via Verlocal) I just heard about Verlocal- a place where you can explore your city, take courses, sell goods etc. This Macaron class is the perfect romantic way to spend Valentine's- definitely check it out!
4. Wine Tasting @ City Wineries: I mean who doesn't love wine tasting and since we don't have Vineyards in NYC this is the perfect place to get it all! Good wine, good food, great music= the perfect Valentine's!
