Chocheng AW16

Last week I got the chance to preview CHOCHENG's AW16 collection and was in complete awe of his designs. CHOCHENG graduated from Parsons School of Design and launched his womenswear label in 2005 and shortly after opened his NY flagship store on Madison avenue and there is nothing that I love more than supporting a designer that started out in NYC.

CHOCHENG has become synonymous with luxurious tailoring and is fast becoming known for his signature tailored jackets in heritage fabrics particularly tweed. Using the highest quality fabrics, the AW16 collection features dresses, pant suits, and jackets, including the designers signature tweed pieces. Both bespoke and Ready-To-Wear garments are hand sewn following traditional Savile Row tailoring techniques with all manufacturing taking place in the UK.

CHOCHENG pays close attention to every detail and fabrics are supple, luxurious and in most cases exclusive to him, appealing to a discerning clientele and his feminine, modern, fresh aesthetic has attracted an impressive celebrity and social following including Nicole Kidman, Janet Jackson and former first lady Nancy Reagan. Each piece was more gorgeous than the next, and as I went through the pieces I felt as if I was thrown back in time peeking through my grandmothers closet.
