Golden Gate Bridge

Tuesday, September 6, 2016

I love a good bike ride, especially when I'm on vacation and it means exploring a new city. On my second day in SF I headed down to Fisherman's Wharf and stopped at Bay City Bike to pick up my mode of transportation for the day. We biked along the waterfront through the Marina right into Golden Gate Park (about 5 miles).
We hit incredible view points where we stopped to take some photos of the bridge before looping through the Golden Gate park.

We continued the tradition of having a toast while on vacation and grabbed one in lobby of the Sir Francis Drake- Kimpton hotel before heading out for the night. While there are so many neighborhoods to explore in San Fran we decided on visiting the Mission area and having dinner there. We stopped at Trick Dog Bar for a cocktail and then headed to Flour+Water for dinner. The dishes were delicious my only regret was not ordering more of the ravioli, if you are in San Fran do me a favor and go have a bite for me!

On our last morning in SF we stopped at Roxanne's Cafe for breakfast (we ate there 2/3 mornings- it's the perfect breakfast spot) and then spent a little time wandering around Union Square and Chinatown before heading out to Tahoe.
