This past weekend I planned an escape from NYC and stayed at Chez Lakehouse in Sussex, NJ. This beautiful home on the lake is about an hour and half outside the city and is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind. I spent the weekend hiking, kayaking, reading and BBQing things I don't normally get to do in NYC and enjoyed every minute.
For anyone who has not been to this next of the woods, the area is surrounded by sprawling farms, hiking trails and wineries. I was amazed by the large areas of land and the beautiful landscape.
