I love heading out of the city for the weekends as it is the perfect way to unwind and relax. This past weekend I headed to Arrowhead Lake in the Poconos- about a two hour drive from NYC and rented a house via VRBO. What's great about renting a house is that you experience a weekend away but with the comforts of home. This beautiful house I rented was a chalet with a gas fire place to keep me warm and cozy especially after a hike around the grounds. We arrived Friday with just enough time for a hike before the sunset and then enjoyed some time in the hot tub before settling in for the night.
