Palm Springs: Travel Diary

What's a visit to Palm Springs without heading over to the Parker Palm Springs and of course taking a picture by the famed orange door? After lunch at Norma's- a 5 star diner serving indulgent comfort food and breakfast all day I took a walk through the beautiful grounds of the hotel set on 13-acres. At the Parker Palm you can get lost on the beauty of the manicured lawns and trees that seem to form mazes through the property!

Night time in Palm Springs is great with many places to choose from to dine-out or have a drink but being that Palm Springs is on the West Coast I needed some Tacos! Luckily the Hacienda Cantina and Beach Club offers Taco Tuesday and I was able to experience my first West Coast Taco! I ordered the fish and vegetable taco and must say it was delicious (I ate way more than I should have but enjoyed every bite) and even left some room for the delicious dessert that was delivered to my table- cheesecake with a side of hot chocolate with a churro to dip into the hot chocolate (beyond delicious)! And as for drinks, I am not a tequila girl however their house infused jalepeno tequila is one that can not be missed!

**Murals throughout the restaurant are the handiwork of local artists Alex Pasane and Angelina Christina. **
