Last night I spoke at the Young & Able series event hosted by designer Nicole Lenzen with jewelry by Abby Carnavele at the Young & Able pop up shop in Soho. The topic of conversation was Holiday style, the time of year where any style is workable as long as it makes you feel great!
Some advice:
1. If you can work it wear it!
2. Think: where will I be and who will I be with, this is really important!! If you are with close family you can try anything, dress it up or down add some glitz and glam it up but if you are with coworkers opt on the traditional side.
3. Dress with how you feel, if you don't feel right before you head out the door you won't be able to pull it off. Remember, half the battle is your confidence. If you feel confident you can work anything!
Take a tip from this look where simple pieces pull together to make for a great pairing! I love plaid for the holiday season and with a pop of color, you can't go wrong!
