Anada: Wearable Art

Tuesday, November 5, 2013

When laid flat the artwork can be seen in full, when wrapped you see portions of it and the wonderful colors printed on each scarf!

The other day I met up with Noor and Nada Alawi- sisters from Bahrain on a trip to the US to showcase Anada - their line of luxurious silk scarves. The sisters have partnered with various Middle Eastern artists who have allowed their beautiful work to be transformed into wearable art.
I was delighted to get a sneak peak of their new line; full of art, fashion and romance all rolled into one.

What I love about their scarves is that they are the perfect accessory for any time of the day and any occasion. The sisters opened my eyes to the multiple ways to wear, wrap and tie a scarf and I loved playing with all the different looks.
