There are so many things about Summer that bring out my inner kid...getting excited upon seeing a Mr. Softee truck (lucky for me in NY they are on every corner), running through sprinklers and picnics in the park.
Frieda and Nellie (and yes they are best friends) had this same feeling while traveling through Ecuador rediscovering their inner Summer camp self via the friendship bracelet. I myself remember hot days in camp not wanting to do anything but lay in the grass with a safety pin securing one end of colored string to my jean shorts as I knotted my way through making friendship bracelets. Well thankfully I no longer have to make my own, Frieda and Nellie are doing it for me. Combined with a vintage feel they have reinvented the Friendship bracelet that caters to an older crowd.
