NY Times - On the Street at Fashion Week shot by the legendary Bill Cunningham.

It's no stampede but the length of the skirt seems to be turning into an issue as an alternative to leggings and trousers. Many guests attending designers' shows for next fall wore a transparent curtain-skirt, while some designers' runway visions showed a marked drop to mid and lower calf. The designer Cynthia Rowley solved the skirt proportions with a new above-the-ankle boot for day and evening. 




I am still undecided about the maxi skirt but I might have to try it after seeing this article...What do you think?
