If I had to name one new designer on the market as the "one to watch" it would hands down be Prabal Gurung. Prabal hails all the way from Nepal and has already hit it big in the fashion industry. His work resume reads as a long list of "who is who" in the fashion industry, having worked for Donna Karan, Cynthia Rowley and most recently Bill Blass.
Gurung launched his first line PRABAL GURUNG at New York Fashion Week Fall 2009 and continues to shine as one of Fashion's brightest. Some high notes include winning the Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award, being selected as the CFDA Fashion Incubator for the years of 2010-2012 and being nominated for the 2010 CFDA Swarovski Womenswear award.
Designs are currently gracing the windows of Bergdorf Goodman in NYC.
