The Girls Are Back In Town

As a true New Yorker, I avoid large tourist filled crowds at all expenses but, on a rare spontaneous occasion you can find me fighting the chaotic side mess that leads to views of a Red Carpet. Upon walking home from work today, I found myself bumping and pushing through the crowds of prom ready girls clad in mini dresses and sky high heels. And what caused me to stay for a few moments? Well, it's not everyday you get a glimpse of the fabulousness of the Sex and The City2 's red carpet showing. Bedazzled in glitz and glamour, complete with chandeliers framing the sky and a myriad of flashing cameras... I was in heaven and as Carrie would say "Only in New York ladies, only in New York".

I stayed just long enough to catch a glimpse of a few Red Carpet walkers, but by far my award goes to Valentino. He stopped, he smiled, he waved big enough for everyone to see and he is just so damn cute! Anyone who has seen The Last Emperor can attest to that (if you haven't run and get it now...)! After that I bowed out gracefully, there will be no cat-fights from this fashionista I know when to throw in my shoe!

Bright lights, big city...

SJP chose a very fitting stunning one shoulder Canary Yellow Valentino Couture dress, paired with Silver satin double platform Ferragamo shoes and Fred Leighton Art Deco platinum and diamond bracelets. Kirstin Davis stepped out in a 1950's pink chiffon Jean Desses Vintage Couture dress found at Decades Inc. paired with Fred Leighton earrings.

Melania Trump wowed the crowd in this Jewel toned green dress, nude peep toe shoes and gold bangles.
