Spring Dresses

Thursday, April 20, 2017

Flirty dresses have stolen my heart and I love pairing them during the spring months with open back or open toe booties. There is something about the mix that I just love and it's a great way to get more wear out of your winter booties. This cold shoulder shift dress is a from Shop Tobi and I must admit I have already worn it 4 times this season!
I love the ruffle sleeves and the back criss-crosses adding interesting details to the look.
And, lucky for you ladies this dress and everything site-wide at Shop Tobi is on sale through today so get out your phones & laptops and start stocking up for spring and summer- there are great deals that can not be missed!

Off The Shoulder Tied With a Bow

Wednesday, April 19, 2017

I have decided that I am spending the spring in off-the-shoulder tops and dresses. This easy to wear chic look is perfect for a beautiful day and is easily transferrable from day to night. This past Sunday was 80 degrees in New York and was the perfect moment to take this top for a spin. I paired this Look Back Blouse from Shop Tobi  (get 50% off your first order on Shop Tobi) with a pair of cuffed denim and these open toe booties by Emu Australia. As always I love adding a bunch of accessories when getting dressed and nothing pairs better with an off-the-shoulder top than a choker.
What are your favorite trends for spring? Head over to my instagram @fashinny and let me know!

NOMI Beauty

Monday, April 17, 2017

Let's talk about things missing in this world...have you ever been to a hotel for let's say a wedding or an event and you were in major need of getting your hair and makeup done? If so you are definitely like me. A few months ago I was in Chicago for a wedding and thought, no worries- I will find a place...Fast forward to a few miles of wandering in a town I didn't know and yes I found a place but thought to myself- how easy would this have been if I could do it all at my hotel.
NOMI Beauty to the rescue! NOMI Beauty is an elite service- room service style which means you stay in the comfort of your hotel while a team of hair stylists and makeup artists come TO YOU! Available on the app store (NOMI-On Demand Beauty) this service is available in over 40 NYC based hotels which is a win-win for beauty lovers.

SO how does it work? You get to browse through makeup looks as well as hair styles and book your service based on your needs. Easy as 1-2-3 taking the hassle out of the beauty struggle. Last week I got to test out the services at the Westhouse Hotel in New York and loved how easy it was to get ready for a night out. I was ushered in and immediately had my makeup down followed by my hair in an experience that was like no other. Forget the salon- next time you are in New York or happen to be staying at a hotel book your experience with NOMI!

West Village Vibes

Friday, April 14, 2017

It finally feels like spring in NYC and I have been living in cropped jeans and cute breezy tops. This Irene Top from Shop Tobi comes in taupe and white and is a great staple for the season. I paired it with cuffed cropped boyfriend jeans and wedge espadrilles to top off the look. I love that this top is versatile and can be worn with everything from boyfriend jeans and casual shoes to skinny jeans and pumps, and then for the warmer days with shorts and mini skirts. And at a price point of under $30 you can grab two and make them both a part of your spring rotation!

Velour & Stars

Monday, April 10, 2017

Oh how I love Velour and oh how I love the star trend! These stars seem to be popping up all over the place from tops to dresses (seen here), jeans, boots and sneakers and I can't get enough. Stars have been slowly creeping into everything from shoes to patches on jeans, bomber jackets and more.

Want to try the star trend? You can start in small steps, add some accessories and go from there- think a bag or a  clutch to start and if you feel comfortable add a few items to your wardrobe as well!
